[CONTEST] Che Kothari x Wan Luv x Va$thie Present #1992Toronto

For the first time ever, multi-talented director, entrepreneur and the original King of New York, Va$htie is bringing her 1992 Party to Toronto. Hailed as the “Best Party” by the Paper Magazine Nightlife Awards and featured in the New York Times, the 1992 Party was established in 2006 in an effort to breathe life into the New York party scene and eventually moved onto cities like Miami, Paris and Amsterdam with it’s infectious good vibes and carefully curated DJ sets.

With hip hop legends like Q-Tip, Jay-Z, The Clipse and DJ Premier attached to the party’s name, both tastemakers and hip hop enthusiasts are brought together in a space that is meant to celebrate our culture to the fullest!

The event is brought to us by Che Kothari who will simultaneously launching his website www.chekothari.com on February 21st, 2014. Che, the community organizer who brought us the amazing Manifesto Festival of Community & Culture, is also a well-traveled photographer having spent many years capturing images from around the globe. The site will serve as his first online portfolio so stay tuned for news related to the site as well as Che’s insights of his photographs that will be launched prior to the party.

The event will be hosted by Wan Luv with additional music provided by Toronto’s DJ Lissa Monet, DJ Huggy Bear of NYC and DJ Mensa (TMI).

The 1992 Party will be held on Friday February 21st, 2014 at Tattoo located on 567 Queen St. West, Toronto, ON. Doors will open at 10PM.
