Overall I feel like this is a strong project with hard hitting lyrics and great production. My mood definitely changed while listening to it from start to finish. Songs like “Gotta Get It”, “Hustle & Grind” and “Hard for the Money”, had me singing along and were very relatable. I’m not really into the party/club sort of songs, but “Party People” definitely had me dancing around my apartment for a hot second. The song that sticks out most in my head is “Fire it Up”, something about that easy hook and head nodding beat just stuck to me and is a great addition to any 420 friendly hip-hop heads playlist. I love how the mood of the project changed at the end with “Can I Walk With You” and “Risk It All”, perfect placement for these tracks that calmed me down from this high energy project and let me enjoy the soft melodic singing and hooks. I downloaded it. I have it on my iPod. I like it. Check it out.
