Happy Belated birthday to LA spitter Hopsin, who celebrated his earthstrong by posting the video for the 5th instalment of “Ill Mind of Hopsin” two days ago. Those familiar with the “Ill Mind” series won’t be disappointed, as Hopsin continues to spit the TRUTH (both as a euphemism for “dope rhymes” and truth in the literal sense), this time tackling wayward youth who lack education and motivation. The beat isn’t my favourite, but the song is packed with too many important messages to dismiss. If you haven’t been put on to Hopsin yet, this track is a great place to start getting familiar! Love this video. My girl sent this to me and mind was blown. Going to find the other installments. As for the beat, I feel it. Then again, I’m drawn to these types of beats.
