[VIDEO] Frank Ocean’s TV Debut on Jimmy Fallon

Frank Ocean merked boob-tubes everywhere last night with a flawless, heartfelt rendition of “Bad Religion” on Jimmy Fallon. Backed by The Roots and a live string section, Frank’s first ever TV performance (in support of his new album Channel Orange) was unpretentious and raw. Debuting at #5 on the iTunes charts at midnight, channel Orange jumped to the #1 spot after this live performance, just an hour later. Of course, in light of last weeks open letter about his ambiguous sexuality, the twitters were abuzz about the meaning of his lyric “I could never make him love me”, which had a lot of people drop-jawed…For real tho? Considering the song is about religion, doesn’t it make more sense that the line would be in reference to God rather than a lover? Did you listen to any of the other lyrics?
