[Video] Nas — “Daughters”

Nas has dropped the long awaited video to his deeply personal record, “Daughters”. Much sweeter than that dreadfully awkward cameo in Nicki Minaj’s “Right By My Side”, this video is a P.O.V. chronicle of Nas and his relationship with his daughter Destiny, from her birth on June 15, 1994 (the caption at the video’s start was an editing mistake, says Nas) to the present. If you pay attention, you’ll see Paige Hurd from Everybody Hates Chris!

Chris Robinson, the man behind the videos for Nas’ “One Mic” and “I Can”, sat in the director’s chair for this one. He did a great job. I’m not one to cry, but my eyes DID start to sweat a little after watching. Dope video for a dope track! Take a look:
