FASHION: TYGA “STILL GOT IT” (FT. DRAKE) DISSECTED

If you haven’t already seen the Tyga Video for “Still Got It” featuring Drake, the video has a real retro vibe to it, and with good reason because it’s set in 1988. There’s a lot of great fashion in this video, Jordan III, doorknocker earrings, Versace shades, Fendi bucket hats and of course Adidas track suits and shoes! Watching the video it really had a great vibe to it, like you wanted to be there just chillin with your friends. The fashion was really on point for the time period, except for one BIG inaccuracy in my opinion, the Jordan XII “Taxi” which were released almost 10 years later in 1997. The stylist, set director and entire team went to great lengths to find accurate clothes, cars, gadgets and even Jersey’s (I noticed the 0.02 seconds on the Charles Oakley retro jersey), but did close ups of a shoe that wasn’t even out at that time. Someone dropped the ball.
