I guess it’s 2-4-1 day at the Winners’ Circle. L the 12th letter has dropped his Jason Matos-directed video for “Follow Me,” which was released on Just Rap last year. “Follow Me” happens to actually be one of my favorite songs off the album, and is also one of the most complex. It tells a story all too familiar and emotes a conscious reflection of this generation.
“I attack the mind state of being on the street,” says L, who is currently working on his debut LP. “You have to be in a certain headspace to step out on the street and try to make money. With this song, I wrestle with this thought process and show you every step of my journey.”
