50 Cent’s attempt to end World Hunger

The rapper recently took to his facebook page to stir up some beef for a good cause. 50 Cent has decided to put his fans to good use by encouraging them to “like” his facebook page. “One like = one meal” and all the proceeds are going towards feeding the less fortunate.

The 50 Cent that we are familiar with, who creates drama with other rappers to boost album sales, is showing his humanitarian side. I respect and appreciate this side of 50 and will support this incredible cause by “liking” his facebook page. I encourage all to support this movement.

I saw this movement he was trying to start with his Energy Drink Street King. Do I believe it’s all marketing? Yeah. But is it going to benefit alot of hungry people? Sure is. Do I hold this against him? No. If he is able to make a profit of a product from those that can afford to buy it and then help out those who can’t feed themselves, I would say that’s a business plan with a conscious. That’s capitalism working at it’s best, not it’s greediest.
