The group is coming together after two men accused group member Bizzy Bone of assault after a concert in June at Congress Theater in Chicago. According to the two men, they paid 80 dollars to party on the tour bus with Bone Thugs after the concert. After about half an hour on the bus, they say that Bizzy Bone allegedly began harassing them, striking the two fans as they attempted to leave the bus. One man was struck in the head and knocked down to his feet; while Bizzy broke the man’s glasses and fractured his nose.
The two men have decided to file a lawsuit. The lawsuit also names other members of the group, several concert organizers, Congress Theater and a number of record companies to be at fault. The men are seeking a total of $1.2 million for “extreme emotional embarrassment and trauma” they claim to have suffered in front of a dozen onlookers.
The hip hop group is denying the allegations. Bone Thugs-n-Harmony member Flesh-n-Bone says:
“that the group feels the truth will come out and [they will] deal with this in court. We generally don’t let fans on the bus and we are never mean to any of our fans. We love all of them. We have the right representation and we will handle this matter accordingly.”
There were no reported arrests.
